Condolence From: Irene Veillette
Condolence: Joanne and Bill,
Your dad hired me fresh out of college, one week before school started in 1972. He trusted me to do my very best from day one. I always loved and admired him. I have so many fond memories of him--his warm smile, his hearty laugh, his wonderful ways with his staff and students. Rest in peace, my dear friend and mentor. God bless all of you.
Sincerely, Irene

Condolence: Bill and JoAnne
Just learned of your Dad’s passing and please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family.
Your a Dad was very special to me as he helped me get my start in school administration while he was principal at Pulaski. I remember with joy the discussions we had in his office as I became his assistant back in the Day. Just completed my 28th year as as school superintendent, in many ways thanks to him and his mentoring. The year of the teacher’s strike, it was just your Dad and me - what an adventure.
Best,
Jim

Condolence: Dear Billy, JoAnne and Family,
We were so sad to hear of your Dad's passing. The last of the original Smith St homesteaders! We have a lot of childhood memories of your Dad(and Mom). We would always look for him marching in the Memorial Day parade and driving up and down the hill in his big white car. He always had a huge smile on his face when ever we saw him around town or in Huxley's. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We know what you are going thorough and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
