Obituary for William L. "Bones" Gwara

William L. “Bones” Gwara, 73, longtime companion of Jeanette Michaud, died on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Midstate Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Willimantic on January 28, 1944, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rita (Rondeau) Gwara. Mr. Gwara was an avid fisherman and an artist.
Besides his longtime companion, he is survived by two daughters, Beth Barillaro and her husband John and Meg Gwara; two stepsons, Todd Michaud and Steven Michaud and his wife Lisa; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Gwara and Jimmy Gwara and several nieces and nephews, including Michael Gwara and Michelle Armstrong. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Linda Gwara.
Per William’s request, all services were private. Should friends desire, contributions in his memory may be made to the National MS Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.
