Ronald L. Esposito Jr., 54, died on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital after a short battle with an aggressive cancer, surrounded by his family. Born in New Haven on June 28, 1963, he was the son of Ronald L. Esposito, Sr. and the late Barbara (Handel) Esposito. He was a resident of Rocky Hill and Hartford. He was raised and grew up in West Haven and had graduated from West Haven High School. Ronald was a former employee of Cox Communications and Dimension Cable and had worked for Walgreens for the past ten years. He was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima in Meriden and Our Lady of Victory in West Haven. Ronald enjoyed small home improvements and camping. He loved the New York Yankees, Jets and Giants. He also loved listening to music and cooking.
He is survived by two daughters, Catherine Esposito and her fiancé Chris Morin of Meriden and Gabriella Esposito of Meriden and their mother, Priscilla Esposito; Four sisters, Donna Horobin and her husband Walter, Barbara Ann Snyder and her husband Dave, Paulette Manzo and her husband Robert and Julie Ann Esposito. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by a niece, Emile Snyder, his former spouse, Tracy Dean and several aunts, uncles, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial to be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 35 Center Street, Meriden. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden on Sunday, December 17th from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, 38 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06854-2328
