Marie (Marro) Bonfiglio, 78, wife of fifty-six years to Ralph Bonfiglio, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 22, 2017. Born in New Haven on February 6, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Carmel (Guccione) Marro. She had resided in Meriden for most of her life. Mrs. Bonfiglio was a homemaker, raising her two boys. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church while serving as a member of the choir as well as an eucharistic minister. She was also an active member of AARP.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ralph A. Bonfiglio and his wife, Rosalba and Joseph J. Bonfiglio and his wife, Christine; five grandchildren, Alexander, Christian, Trevor, Jacob and Ryan Bonfiglio; one brother, Anthony Marro and his wife, Mary. She is also survived by her niece and nephew and many cousins. She was predeceased by her stepfather, William Ferretti.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 159 West Main St., Meriden. There are no calling hours. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
