Obituary for Julie G. Moriarty

Julie G. Moriarty, 69, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Apple Rehab Cromwell. Born in Milford, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathryn Bird Greene. Julie was a longtime Manchester resident and graduated from Manchester High as well as from the Hartford Hospital LPN Program. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church. Julie was devoted to her three nieces, three grandnieces and three grandnephews.
She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Nemeth and her husband James of Meriden. She is also survived by her three nieces, Christine Darling and her husband Christopher, Kelly Bartlett and her husband Frank and Erin Maciag and her husband Brandon; three grandnieces, Julianne Darling, Claire Darling and Abigail Maciag and three grandnephews, James Maciag, Andrew Bartlett and Owen Bartlett.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 7th at 9:15 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, CT 06450 and at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, St. Joseph Church, 22 Goodwill Ave., Meriden, CT 06451 for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 6th from 4 to 7 p.m. Should friends desire, contributions in Julie’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Her family would like to thank the staff of Apple Rehab Cromwell for their six years of excellent care.
