Richard E. Davidson, 80, husband of Patricia (Currier) Davidson, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Midstate Medical Center. Born in Meriden on March 24, 1937, he was the son of the late Walter and Florence (Watmore) Davidson. Mr. Davidson resided in Wallingford for forty-six years and was a graduate of Meriden High School. He was employed by the City of Meriden and most recently, Auto Body Supply of Bristol. He served with the CT National Guard. Mr. Davidson’s family meant everything to him.
Besides his wife Patricia, he is survived by two daughters, Cynthia DeManche Sorber and Kimberly Davidson; a son, Michael DeManche and his wife, Michelle; a granddaughter, Alexis Davidson, and several step-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
