Helen Conner, 88, wife of the late John W. Conner, died on Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Meriden after a long illness. Born in Montpelier, Vermont on June 9, 1928, daughter of the late James and Minnie (Venner) Menard and had graduated from St. Michael High School in Montpelier. Mrs. Conner was employed by CT General Medicare of Wallingford, retiring in 1993. She was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church.
Helen is survived by her son, Michael Conner and his wife Cindy; her two daughters, Susan Goode and her husband Ron and Linda Rossi and her husband Michael; six grandchildren, Alisha Cyr, Michael Goode, Rhonda Scali, Michael Rossi Jr., James Rossi and Scott Rossi; eleven great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Madelyn Trombly and Bonnie Staples. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Cheryl Bacon, her step-daughter, Terry (Conner) Gould, her sister, Norma Ferry and her brothers, Jack Menard and James Menard.

Helen’s family would like to thank the entire staff at the Alzheimer’s Resource Center for the care and love they provided. They displayed respect, sensitivity and humor to make her feel a comfortable part of her 2A community.
