Message: Dear Alex's family I meant to say this yesterday, but I was an emotional mess. I couldn't even properly say I'm sorry for your loss. Alex has to be by far the kindest person to friends, and strangers alike. When I met him he jumped into my area of vision, and yelled "high five." Although I was taken by surprise, I quickly gave him a high five. that was the start of our friendship. In gym we had the best of times, he actually made gym the highlight of my day. To be honest I hated gym. after I suppose a month later, we had to leave for Christmas vacation. His last words to me were "can I have one last high five before break?" Sadly that was our last encounter. every time I think about it, it makes me sad. It's devastating his life was cut soo short. I send my condolences to you, and your family.
