Obituary for Kimberly A. Charette

Kimberly A. Charette
Kimberly A. Charette, 49, loving wife of David Charette, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Connecticut Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in South Kingstown, RI on October 8, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Rhonda Wheeler. She had resided in Meriden most of her life and attended Maloney High School. The loves of her life were her son, Bret, her husband, Dave and her two dogs, Maddy and Lilly. She especially enjoyed fishing trips with David and her dogs. One of Kimberly’s proudest moments was when her son Bret achieved his childhood dream of becoming a City of Meriden Firefighter.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Bret and his girlfriend Kelsey of Meriden; three sisters, Christine Baril and her husband Dan of Meriden, Paula Robinson and her husband Rob of Rhode Island and Nanci Dwyer of Meriden. Kimberly is also survived by her nieces and nephew, Danielle, Melissa, Melanie, Jason, Lexie and Carlie.
Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden on Friday, September 23rd from 4 to 7 pm. The funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Smilow Cancer Hospital's Thoracic Oncology Program http://www.givetoynhh.org/mail-or-fax-your-gift and/or to The Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd. Branford, CT 06405. Kimberly’s family would like to thank Dr. Lilenbaum, APRN Vanna Dest, Dr. Putnam and her chemo nurse Chris Drew.
