William R. Brinley, Sr., age 99, died on September 8, 2016 in Lothian, MD. He was pre-deceased by his wife Madeleine Bolle Brinley.
William was born in Wallingford on August 18, 1917 to Raymond E. Brinley and Josephine M. Bridgett Brinley and was the oldest of four children.
William served as a Sergeant in the Army Air Corps in W.W. II, 1942-1945, was a longtime member of the Circus Fans Association, and an early member of the Antique Veterans Post #1.
He is survived by his family in Maryland - a son and daughter-in-law, William Jr. and Angela, his granddaughter, Tais Cristina Martinez, and two great-granddaughters, Zoe & Eleanor, and his nieces and nephew in Connecticut. He was also pre-deceased by his sister Barbara Wolf, his brother Robert E. Brinley and his sister Carole D'Agostino.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christina Burial to be held on Thursday, September 15th at 10 am at St. Laurent Church, 121 Camp Street, Meriden. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial with military honors will be in St. Laurent Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
